Infinity Structures is a structural framing system supplier specializing in the Epicore MSR Composite Floor System on pre-panelized load-bearing metal stud walls (The Infinity Structural System) and the pre-insulated exterior MSR33 WalPanel System. The Infinity System is ideal for multi-story residential projects such as Apartments, Condos, Lofts, Student Housing, Hotels, and Senior Living Facilities up to six or seven stories in height. We developed The Infinity Structural System in 1986, and a review of our Installation Lists (available upon request) proves that we have by far the most extensive experience and expertise of anyone in the business. Over many years and many projects, we have "fine tuned and tweaked" The Infinity System making constant improvements for a more economical, faster, trouble-free and user-friendly system. Our scope of involvement can vary from simply supplying the Epicore MSR composite deck to a complete structural framing package. Infinity Structures provides Project Management and Engineering assistance and has several highly trained and experienced erection crews to ensure a fast, smooth, and trouble-free installation. Depending upon the Client's desires, our Engineering involvement varies from just providing shop/erection drawings to providing the full Structural Engineering design from the foundations through the roof.

The Infinity Structural System consists of the Epicore MSR Composite Floor System on pre-panelized load-bearing metal stud walls. Epicore MSR is a 2" deep, 22 gage high performance long-span composite metal deck that acts as a permanent form as well as the positive reinforcing within the slab. The dovetail rib with embossed locking lugs, flat bottom profile, and closed flutes makes it uniquely suited for load-bearing metal stud applications since it inherently distributes loads evenly over the metal studs (eliminating the need for expensive load-distribution headers or attempting to align joists and studs). The Epicore MSR Floor System can clear span over 25 feet with a 4" to 8" slab thickness utilizing 4,000 psi regular weight concrete (3,000 psi or lightweight may be used if desired: Consult Infinity for details). The load-bearing metal stud wall panels are 3 5/8" or 6" galvanized studs spaced at 24", 16", or 12" on center. The gage of the studs will be 20, 18, 16, 14, or 12 gage depending upon axial loads, wind loads, and stud height. The metal studs are all custom ordered for your particular project, therefore the metal studs may be cut to any length to achieve your desired floor-to-floor heights (ie: there are no standard stud height constraints). Infinity's wall panels are fabricated off-site in a controlled environment using welded connections under very stringent QC requirements to ensure the highest quality available.

The lateral loads (wind and seismic) may be handled utilizing our exclusive Infinity Shear Panel (Patented) which is far superior to the outdated method of using flat X-straps. You may also use traditional methods such as concrete shear walls, reinforced CMU/masonry shear walls, or structural steel braced frames, etc.

A very exciting option with the Infinity System is our pre-insulated exterior MSR33 WalPanel system. The MSR33 WalPanels are constructed of galvanized metal studs with rigid, fire retardant 'modified expanded polystyrene' (EPS) insulation. Like our bare metal stud Infinity wall panels, the MSR33 WalPanels are shop fabricated off-site, delivered to the jobsite, and installed by our trained Infinity System Erectors. The MSR33 WalPanels provide four steps in one: the structural components, insulation, vapor barrier, and sheathing. The modified EPS has very low flame spread/smoke development ratings, and contains no CFC's, HCFC's or formaldehyde (ie: environmentally safe). One of the biggest advantages is the thermal energy performance (Values up to an effective R-33). Not only will you reduce time and costs during the construction phase, but the owner will enjoy up to 60% lower energy costs every year for the life of the building!
