One of the first and foremost basic steps to ensure a smooth, successful and economical Infinity Structural System is the proper structural engineering design.  A conservative overdesign by the Structural Engineer of Record can result in expensive cost over runs; can create nasty details that are difficult to install in the field; can cause the speed of the Infinity System to suffer; and can generally make your experience with the system less than desirable.

     If you do not have a Structural Engineer on board for your project, Infinity will be happy to recommend several good Structural Engineers that have proven experience designing economical and user-friendly structures.  If there is already a Structural Engineer on board, Infinity will work closely to try to ensure a simple, economical design.  We can provide design catalogs, load-tables, typical details on AutoCAD, Epicore MSR Specifications (in CSI format), typical notes, sample structural drawings on other similar projects, etc (e-mailed or on disk).

     We also encourage you to get us involved in the preliminary schematic stage of the project. Infinity will use the Architectural schematics to provide a preliminary "magic-marker" design layout to illustrate what we feel is the best approach to framing your project.  This preliminary layout may also be used to develop a preliminary budget for the Infinity System.
