Epicore Composite Floor Deck Fire Ratings under U.L. Design Numbers D904, D917, & D928 are superior to fire ratings of generic composite floor decks.  In most instances the fire ratings of EPICORE slabs require from ½-inch to 1 ¼-inch less slab depth than generic profile slabs.  The U.L. ratings are based upon a bare Epicore slab without spray-on fireproofing or a drywall membrane protecting the Epicore (consult your U.L. Directory for further details such as restrained, unrestrained, etc.).
