Infinity Structures is a structural framing system supplier specializing in the Epicore MSR Composite Floor System on pre-panelized load-bearing metal stud walls (The Infinity Structural System™). The Infinity System is ideal for multi-story residential projects such as apartments, condos, lofts, dorms, hotels, and senior living facilities up to six-stories in height.  Infinity developed The Infinity Structural System in 1986, and as you can see from our Installation Lists, we have by far the most extensive experience and expertise of anyone in the business. Over many years and many projects, we have "fine tuned and tweaked" The Infinity System making constant improvements for a more economical, faster, trouble-free and user-friendly system. Our scope of involvement varies from simply supplying the Epicore MSR composite deck to a complete structural framing package. Infinity Structures includes Project Management and Engineering assistance to ensure a smooth, trouble-free installation. Our Engineering involvement varies from just providing shop drawings to providing the full Structural Engineering design from the foundations through the roof.

     The Infinity Structural System consists of the Epicore MSR Composite Floor System on pre-panelized load-bearing metal stud walls. Epicore MSR is a 2" deep, 22 gauge galvanized long-span composite metal deck that acts as a permanent form and positive reinforcing steel. The dovetail rib, flat bottom profile, and closed flutes of Epicore MSR makes it uniquely suited for load-bearing metal stud applications since it inherently distributes loads evenly over the metal studs (eliminating the need for special load-distribution headers or attempting to align joists and studs). The Epicore MSR Floor System can clear span over 20 feet with a 4" to 6.5" slab thickness utilizing 3,000 psi minimum regular weight or lightweight concrete.  The load-bearing metal stud wall panels are 3 5/8", 4", or 6" galvanized studs spaced at 24", 16", or 12" on center. The gauge of the studs will be 20, 18, 16, 14, or 12 gauge depending upon axial loads, wind loads, and stud height. Studs may be ordered in any length to achieve your desired floor-to-floor heights.

      The lateral wind and/or seismic loads may be handled utilizing our exclusive Infinity Shear Panel (Patented) or traditional methods such as light gauge flat x-strapping, concrete / masonry shear walls, or structural steel K-frames, etc.

      We are very excited about the recent addition of the ThermaSteel exterior insulated wall panel system to our Infinity System options. Combining the 5 1/2" ThermaSteel exterior panels with Infinity interior panels and the Epicore MSR Composite Floor System offers initial cost savings, time savings, immediate dry-in, and a tremendous energy cost savings for the building owners year after year.
